Front Seat Belt swap

Hi there.

I'm wondering if you can mount 91-96 B car front seat belt retractor in place of a 1978 B cars front seat belt retractors?

It's been my experience with seat belts, you can mount any belt in pretty much any car.
Things that you need to pay attention too.
A) Is the belt you're wanting to use long enough to stretch across.
B) Will the belt your wanting to use fit in the hole where the belt normally goes.
C) If the bolt holes do not line up with the holes on the B pillar, you can use a piece of steel to make it work from bolt hole to bolt hole. Keep in mind you want to use strong material, as this is a safety issue.
D) The seat belt bracket needs to stay vertical, Otherwise it will lock up all the time when you pull it.

I say this solely because I have swapped belts in a few of my past cars, from others out of the junkyard.
