    Hi, new to the forum. I've got a 78 Impala and I am looking for the gear shift knob in carmine. Been searching on ebay and all they have are ones in black.

    It's great to find a place for guys that are into the 77-79s. Spent a couple hours going over the posts and it's great to see what everyone is doing with their cars here!

    Hey, Welcome to the Forum Dan!!  It just so happens that my car has a mixture of black and carmine interior and I will be going all black when my restoration is complete.  My gear knob is I believe the right color you're looking for, see picture below to confirm:

    It is SUPER SUPER cold right now, but when it warms up a bit, I'll go out there and take it off and see how it cleans up and verify it's in good shape and if you want it, it's all yours for FREE if you don't find one before I get to it.

    Let me know if that's the right color.
