    Hey yall,

    i have a 1988 Chevy Caprice Classic Brougham LS and I was wondering was there a way to identify if I had a 28 or 30 spline axle w/o taking the axle out???? 88 was the year that they ran 28 and 30 spline axles, please help!!!!!

    Hey, Welcome to the Forum! I'm not real sure if you can determine it without taking them out, but I'm sure someone here will chime in that may know.

    Welcome, do you know if you have the 7.5 or 8.5? Theres no way to determine without taking them out.
