Dual exhaust on my 84 wagon Empty Dual exhaust on my 84 wagon

    Hi,

I want to switch to dual exhaust on 84 Caprice Wagon.

I know the stock transmission crossmember will be a problem. Does anyone knows if dual exhaust crossmember exist ?

Second question is where to find the right exhaust kit ?
Also, I'm looking for a very quiet but efficient mufflers. Any recommendation ?

    Thanks !

Im sure you have but if you have not, check this out https://www.gmbbodyforum.com/t10-chevy-caprice-dual-exhaust
wagons look the same underneath, ive also heard people have just ran the pipe under the crossmember without cutting or bending it, and if your car is high enough it wouldnt be a problem. I would run the classic flowmasters either the super 40s or super 44s, the 44s are a tad bit quieter but on a stock motor almost every muffler is pretty quiet.

Yes I have checked your topic ! Your exhaust looks sweet Cool
Did you buy some "generic" tubbing to make it ?

For the mufflers, i'm looking for something close to the original sound, just a little rumble from the outside (I do a lot of highway with the Caprice) .
