last week we saved another b body here in town, so now my little girl will have her own car

factory 305 2bbl red on black with ac and vinyl top. cars complete and original, has electric truck button in the dash and a passenger side mirror.
needs an ac compressor to fix the ac and some seat repairs and a couple cosmetics. do have once sections of the right rear 1/4 that needs cut out but that is all for severe/heavy rust the rest of the car has very little rust.

waiting on some fittings for my wastegate to get the car re plumbed and re tuned

did change out the factory gm truck upper radiator hose for 2 seperate pieces with a piece of 1 1/2" pipe between them

well yesterday we got hit with egg sized hail. luckily my car was in the shop getting this put in.

works like a charm so far.

my familys other vehicles didn't fair so well. Neither did my Daughters new car broke all the tail light lenses out and smashed the window trim as well.

well update, wastegates to small. Converters to tight and battery shut off still isn't wired in. Might be putting in a holley hp efi setup so it can run a bump box, boost controller and 2 step function. cheaper to convert to holley then to buy all the parts individually.

had my brother install the new 60mm tail gate this weekend.

waiting on some wheels for my front end conversion. going to c4 spindles and c5 brakes, have everything but front wheels and tires.

test an tune last month. swapped the converter the night before made a hit and loaded it in the trailer

tune wasnt right and car was building boost on the line and making power but still not right. going back this coming weekend weather permitting to the last track day of the year and going to see if we can get it tuned completely. car will dead hook on the street now at 5-7lbs. going to do some data logging to see if we have a restriction on the intake or exhaust side as well.

new converter brought the car to life

update went to another track day in november and the car went 11.629 @ 118. new personal best on the street tires.
last run of the day halfway down the track had a engine knock and bumped it into neutral and the car shut off and wont restart.

Been sitting since then. did some trading with my brother and i swapped him a fresh 5.3 short block for a complete 6.0

sent the 6.0 to the machine shop for a partial fill on the block and a 20-30 over bore, deck and balance a set of forged rods and pistons. haven't decided yet on the bore but i want a bigger displacement but not really looking to put a stroker in it just to street drive it and play.. going to try and run a 9.99 and then just enjoy the car

got alot of other things going like remodeling bathrooms in our first house before we all move in. so well see what happens. Hope to have the car done by spring time.

once it is broke in we will still keep it on low boost and add another s475/83 turbo and keep it on low boost the whole time.
key is to make big hp...ie 1000+ to the tire around 15-18psi   should see around 750-850 around 12 psi ish. defiantly dont want to run 20psi and up trying to keep it simple and effective
