I installed this myself I believe using the aftermarket equivalent of the 79 links they are tad long? but have held up for over

3k without issue and it has a nice super tight feel. I did not have an issue  with this took me 20 min what exactly is holding you

Well apperently then camaro endlinks I'm using are the issue. When assembled I can't run the nut on the top. I got one side on and couldn't get the other side , so I guess I'm gonna grab the stock endlinks. I noticed the endlinks are bowed in a little , i ended up measuring the sway bar arms and there's bout a 1.5" difference in reach length. Thanks for the pictures really helps, BTW that road salt does a number on the chassis on the east coast.

You sure you received the correct end links? Do they have cups to hold the bushings or flat washer?
They're recommended by Scott Mueller and I've personally used them several times. The part number is on here somewhere.

Yea they are they have cupped washer I tried going to auto zone to get the ones with flat washer sl90hd and they were domed washers. I got some flat washers but bolt hole is a little too big and the washer isn't wide enough for my approval.
I can run the link through the bar but with the last washer on top but no threads to grab with the nut
I put a flat on top but I couldn't get the other side I had the bar frame clamps loosely bolted when assembling

This has me stumped. All the times I used the Camaro links I has no issues. I wonder if yours were packaged incorrectly?

Some of these parts store end links are screwy anyhow. I replaced strut on a g5 recently and the link from Auto Zone barely fit.

And I matched it in the store to the part, the only other listed was not even close to a match.

So after ordering returning parts in the shop I work at, I finally found what I needed opening random boxes of stocked suspension parts. I used the washers only off Moog 5255 cause the Moog 5252 were domed.
I used the flat washers on the 5252(gen3 link) and barley had enough thread to engage one turn ,did it on the other side one turn then last the frame clamps . Very minor shift of parts to line up the frame bolts and went in about 20 minutes. If I would have saved the old parts I would have been done already but lesson learned. I wonder what was the issue was if others have done it with no problems. Maybe bolts sold now are shorter?? maybe I was stabbing it in around but alas I am done! Still yet to drive it so can't comment on the upgrade but steering is much tighter with new everything (except springs).

Front Sway Bar Upgrade Bolt In Empty Front sway bar etc.

Post  terry cronk Sun Oct 09, 2016 11:06 am

Along with just ordering the HD front springs, I ordered the 1.25 sway bar with the poly bushings also.

I have had the poly links for sometime, just never put them on. They are Energy Suspension #9.8117G.

That should make the handling better.

One thing and day at a time.

Just thought if going this far may as well get new ball joints upper/lower. Smile

Front Sway Bar Upgrade Bolt In Empty Gold sway bar

Post  terry cronk Sun Dec 04, 2016 8:07 am

I received my GOLD sway bar just a couple of days ago.  After 6 weeks of waiting.

If that's powdered coated, I'm going to be the next president!   :-(

Part of it wasn't even painted.   So off to the painter to get it sand blasted and powder coated gloss black.  Another $40.

And they were still advertising that their available still, and I hadn't even gotten mine.  RIGHT!

    I'm done now.

Maybe they are running low and selling cosmetic defects. The one I have is Zinc coated and the Zinc has held up pretty well for past two years considering I drive in the winters of Upstate NY. But I probably will have it like along with other suspension pieces cleaned and powder coated next year.

Yes it was Zinc coated. That's what my painter said also.

Not even all of it was covered.

I got mine back and a great job of gloss black.
