    Turkey filled? Empty Filled.

Well this year 2018 hasn't been the best for driving my car.  It sits in the garage here in 60' temps.

I don't put hardly any anti-freeze in.  Mostly water and lube for the pump.  No need if garaged for the winter.

I'm getting anguish to get it out when weather permits.   I like that kick in the pants feel.

One of my goals this summer is to take it to the track and see how it runs in the 1/8 & 1/4 mile.

    What's with the 383 stroker, almost 11 to 1 compression, 600 Edelbrock, 700R4, headers and 3.73 posi..

I just had this last fall, the whole front end rebuilt.  Adding a 2.5(?) steering box.  It handles like a cart.

Heavy front springs(96 SS) and overload rear springs, plus new shocks.  1.5 front sway bar w/sway bar in rear.  You can tell the sporty suspension.

After getting it broke in this last summer I got about 7-800 miles on the engine.  Before giving an all out through the gears.

Standing still, put in regular drive (no OD).  It has a high rpm governor that makes it shift at about 5000 rpm.

Using a little foot brake torque with a smaller convertor(4.3 V6) and launches. The 1st. to 2nd. is great.

    Hoping to continue this summer.

Heck yeah man, I just drove mine yesterday been sitting for about 3 months, but it got into the 70s so I had to bring it out to feel the same kick in the pants, I don't have a 383 but I've got a built vortec 350 with a little over 400 with a th350 with a shift kit and 3.90 gears she chirps. It feels nice to get out and feel some hp, I've got to go through my suspension and steering next and replace almost everything. Ill have to do a little tune up since its been sitting for so long.
