    Finally got around to doing some slicing of my heater box. I put a metal panel in front to mount the MSD box.

    Which BTW MSD vs HEi (HEI with 50k coil and performance module )no contest MSD wins. In the past if I had

    vacuum leak motor shook awful I had 2 hoses off by accident and motor had slight stutter with MSD. Much

    stronger at idle and throttle response is wicked. I hadn't run an MSD box in years I was quite surprised at difference.

    Anyway here are pics of the finished product.

    Looks good. My only concern would be the heat off the exhaust taking out the MSD box. I've had several over the years in various cars and the only one that didn't eventually crap out was the one I mounted under the dash of my 69 Nova. Wink

    Thanks(Now I just need to clean up my wiring.).

    True about the location but where it sits doesn't get too hot under my hood . I barely crack 190F cruising

    and nothing under the hood gets really hot except the radiator hoses .

    However I am contemplating a heat shield just in case.
