    does anyone know if i can get a rear sway bar for the 78 wagons.

    Nope. I was reading that people with wagons were using ford crown vic rear bars.

    I got Lucky and found one removed from a late 80's Buick Wagon Locally on C/L I have never seen another. From what I can tell they were only used on Police Package wagons (and they were optional) and 86-90 Buicks with the tow Package. Other than that they are available aftermarket, but they are over $300.00

    If you go back earlier to 74, the rear anti roll bar came standard (as well as a thicker front) if you bought the optional radial tires.

    From what ive read, the crown vic rear sway bar is better in general since it uses the frame and not the control arms, it may be something i might try in the future.
